We had a lot of fun, made some really nice photos and Everest beer was really great. You have to open it slow as it explodes on higher altitudes. Many thnx to our guide Binod and take care Prakash;)
Loved the whole trip in spite of my hiking buddy becoming quite ill, meaning a rather slow trek. The organisation was superb, our guide, Bhim, friendly and accommodating, the scenery spectacular and the trek exciting at times as we crossed recent avalanches and shared the swaying bridges with frisky, stubborn goats. An amazing experience of a lifetime.
This Review is going to be a bit different, as I want to start with what went wrong (Not a world Ex Issue) and how the team on the ground helped us through My partner developed quite severe altitude sickness which we suspected was worsening. Our guide organized transport and accommodation and medical care for my partner and, once she was improving, helped get me back to the group so I could still get as much of the trip as possible. I cannot speak highly enough of our guides (Samde and Sabin) and the help they provided us without disrupting the trip for the rest of the group. The trip itself was excellent, but the seaport we got when things went wrong for me is the key bit and gives me alot of confidence for the next trip with World Ex
