Other than witnessing Mount Everest in all its glory and grandueur, our trek to the Everest Base Camp was the most amazing, the most unforgettable, and a totally out-of-this-world experience. Me and my friend Mariam found Upendra, our guide by a mere chance and this acquaintance turned into a lifetime adventure and lifelong friendship. I would like to highly recommend my Upendra who was an absolute pleasure, fun, brother and more and above all, I valued the special sense of security and safety while treking wih him. He took care of everything, from the airport pick-up and drop-off, the hotel in Kathmandu (excellent location in Thamel) to our internal flights and accommodation along the EBC, which made us feel at ease from the very beginning. Thanks to Upendra, I managed to immerse into an enchanting Nepalese culture, interact with local people, learn about traditions and interesting customs, experience unique Himalayan cuisine and, of course, feel the momentum of Euphoria when reached the Base Camp. When it got a bit colder, he got us extra blankets and made sure we have everything we need in extreme codditions. I cannot recommend Upendra highly enough! If you plan to trek in Nepal, ask for Upendra!! You wouldn't ask for more!
