The 21-day trek was fantastic, the guiding was good and the agency services were smooth and reliable. Im very glad I started my trek in Shivalaya (Jiri would be even better though) and experienced for one week fewer crowds, more friendly and hospitable locals, more authentic village life and an overall more enjoyable walking experience before getting stuck on the trekking-highway after passing Lukla. From there onwards however you get in turn rewarded for increasingly breathtaking views and surreal impressions... I enjoyed in particular the views from Kongma La (first pass) and Renjo La (last pass) as well as Chhukhung Ri and Gokyo Ri! The weather couldnt have been better throughout the first 3 weeks in November. 2-3 proper rest days on top of the 21 days are advisable, even though the acclimatisation is good when starting in Jiri/Shivalaya. Bring enough cash cause its getting pretty expensive after Namche Bazar. Overall an amazing experience with incredible impressions, challenging and rewarding moments as well as a ton of valuable insights and learning for myself.
An Unforgettable Adventure: Annapurna Circuit Trek

I recently had the incredible opportunity to embark on the Annapurna Circuit Trek, and I must say, it was an experience of a lifetime. From the breathtaking landscapes to the warm hospitality of the locals, every aspect of this trek exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, the natural beauty of the Annapurna region is simply awe-inspiring. The trek takes you through diverse terrains, ranging from lush green forests to arid landscapes, and from tranquil valleys to snow-capped peaks. Every turn of the trail presents a new and captivating view, leaving you in constant awe of the majestic Annapurna range. The trek itself is well-organized, with clearly marked trails and numerous teahouses along the way. The teahouses provide comfortable accommodation and delicious meals, offering a much-needed respite after a day of trekking. The local guides and porters are knowledgeable, experienced, and always ready to lend a helping hand, ensuring a safe and enjoyable journey. One of the highlights of the Annapurna Circuit Trek is the opportunity to immerse oneself in the local culture. The trail passes through several traditional Nepalese villages, where you can interact with the friendly locals and gain insight into their way of life. From witnessing age-old traditions to tasting authentic Nepalese cuisine, these encounters add a unique and enriching dimension to the trek. One cannot talk about the Annapurna Circuit Trek without mentioning the iconic Thorong La Pass. Standing at an elevation of 5,416 meters, crossing this pass is a challenging but immensely rewarding experience. The feeling of accomplishment upon reaching the summit, surrounded by towering peaks and prayer flags fluttering in the wind, is indescribable. Additionally, the Annapurna Conservation Area offers an opportunity to witness an incredible array of flora and fauna. From rare orchids to elusive snow leopards, the biodiversity of this region is truly remarkable. The trek promotes responsible tourism and supports conservation efforts, ensuring the preservation of this natural paradise for generations to come. In conclusion, the Annapurna Circuit Trek is a must-do adventure for any avid trekker or nature lover. The stunning landscapes, warm hospitality, and cultural immersion make it an unforgettable journey. Whether you are a seasoned trekker or a first-time adventurer, this trek will challenge and inspire you, leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime. I cannot recommend the Annapurna Circuit Trek enough. It is an experience that will not only test your physical endurance but also touch your soul with its beauty and the warmth of its people. So, pack your bags, lace up your hiking boots, and get ready for the trek of a lifetime! Strongly recommended this company and trek for every trekker!
