We trekked to Everest Base Camp in April 2018 and had the most amazing trip. Our main guide Nimesh was excellent and made the trip very easy and good fun. The trip was very easy to book and the operator's website provides all the information you need. Whenever I had queries its representative replied to emails very quickly. We were picked up at the airport by our guide Nimesh and had induction the next day for the trip. The trip was very organised from the very start. We had one issue at the beginning where two of our group of eight had to fly immediately out of Kathmandu to Lukla the morning after they arrived which was an inconvenience and more notice would have been appreciated. Other than that however the rest of the trip was great and I found the company very helpful. I found the trek very enjoyable all the way along and our guides Nimesh and Sauman were great as there was always one leading and one at the back of the group. We were able to take our time and take breaks and they never once complained! We all made it successfully to Base Camp and the guides were great when some of the group struggled with altitude, we were in safe hands and knew what to expect as we gained in altitude. My favourite part besides reaching Base Camp was climbing Kala Patthar. Climbing in the dark makes it easier as you cannot see how steep it is and how far you have to go. Also the night sky and the surrounding Himalayas are absolutely amazing. The whole experience was unbelievable and the service we received was second to none. I would wholeheartedly recommend this trek and I hope to return to Nepal again.

Second time trekking with this local travel specialist. this time our guide Megendra, and porters Kumar & Mon all THREE of them did an excellent job in taking care of myself & my group. i was hit with ACM at Gorakshep, Meg & Mon took turns to give me piggyback rides. they’re both a delight to be around. Kumar is a quiet & gentle soul, who deserves the same kudos as the other 2. overall, great experience.

I have been raving about World Expeditions since I have arrived home! Our main guide Prasant made our trip to EBC incredibly special and totally hassle free. He went above and beyond to ensure all 13 of us remained healthy for the duration of our trek. He knew right away when someone was feeling even the slightest bit off. He would check in and help as much as possible and continue to check in until we were 100% again. He communicated well what was expected of us each day and we certainly had a lot of laughs with him. Best trip ever! Will 100% be booking another World Ex trip soon
