Truly the trip of a lifetime People say treking in Nepal is something you wont forget. They are right, from the first day u was blown away by the mountains and the people. The true highlight was the amazing group of friends I made and guides we had. Ramm and Dukpa made sure every aspect was taken care of. From the teahouses to pushing us up that last little stretch of mountian. I know that without them there would not have been so much laughter and fun. I cannot reccomend them enough
So many lessons found during the journey, travel with my brother we had a dream to be able to stay in Mount Everest of the highest peak in the world can be achieved
The tour operator was very responsible, which is very important in a tour like this. Every person I had contact was very professional and competent. I would advise through that people doing this training should be very fit and trained for altitude. Otherwise it will be very hard and risky to complete the trekking and not pleasurable. I ran weekly and though I was medium fit but I had to be evacuated from the EBC once I reached there as I couldn't go back by myself. The company support and accompanied me all the way, assist in everything I needed and couldn't ask for more. But to be clear EBC trekking should be done for experienced climbers that have already ascended 3000 meter before and gave altitude training. Otherwise even if you finish it you will not enjoy it, it will be very painful. It's 15 days not stop climbing. There were nights I felt I could walk to the toilet for how exhausted I was.
