Excellent trek. 100% recommended A truly brilliant trek, so many fantastic views. Hard work but worth it when you get to the top. The path is well trodden and you'll meet lots of friendly faces. Our guide Biijay was excellent. He pointed out landmarks and gave us background on the local culture, as well as a breadth of other information. He ensured we were cared for from start to finish, endeavouring to make sure all our needs were met. We also had a porter, Dawa, who put in a lot of good work to carry the bag we needed carrying. He didn't speak much English, but was always friendly and looking out for us, much like Biijay was. He was always willing to help.
From the mayhem that is the streets of Delhi to the tranquility of Chitwan and onto the natural beauty of Nepal, this is a non stop sense smacking adventure! Sometimes you have to pitch yourself to believe what you are seeing is real, from the animals wandering in the streets, to the magnificent temples and scenery. India was full of wonderful man made sights, but Nepal commanded her natural beauty. Everywhere people will happily wave to you, want their photograph taken with you and ask where you are from. This is a well balanced insight into India and Nepal and has whetted my appetite for further travel.
Great experience, tougher in places than I expected. The guide provided by the local tour operator was very knowledgeable and friendly. The company did a great job in catering for our individual requirements, as we did the trek in 11 days due to time constraints.
