The overall experience to EBC was great. Very professional agency and staffs. I'll come next year again for another trek. I haven't decided which one yet but Nepal is surely a very beautiful country with many destinations to offer. You can definitely check out this agency if you're planning to visit Nepal. Thank you
We just finished the Everest Base Camp/Kalapathar trek and the experience from start to finish was fantastic. Our local tour operator organised everything, and everything went smoothly from pick up at the airport onwards. The day before our trek we met our guide, Ram. If you are booking with this operator, I highly recommend you request Ram as your guide, as he was fantastic from start to finish and we couldn't have asked for a better companion. He was incredibly helpful and informative, and a lovely, happy person to be around. Ram was really reassuring and provided any assistance we needed, which was particularly great when one of our party had food poisoning. Ram made sure everyone was OK, but was also experienced enough to know it wasn't altitude sickness and to know our limits. On top of that, he bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed. We couldn't recommend him more and hope we can trek with him again in the near future. The trek itself is spectacular, tricky at times, but well worth it.
Trip of a lifetime, but it's tough We started this trip at the end of October. The organisation was superb. Our leader Silas was brilliant and very helpful. He was professional, was in control and incredibly knowledgeable. This is a long trip and it is tough. By choosing this trip over the standard Base Camp trek you are giving yourself three more days trekking at more than 5,000m so don't be under any illusion that this will be any easier / the same as EBC trek. Climbing Gokyo Ri and Chola Pass are very hard. The scenery is absolutely incredible and the sense of achievement is unreal. This really is a trip of a lifetime and a huge tick off the bucket list.
