Everest Helicopter Tour and Manaslu Trek Our trek was followed by an amazing flight to Everest Base Camp on a helicopter. We took a customized package with the company with jeep option on both ways. It would have been a terrible experience without taking the jeep. The trek, our guide Dawa, lodges we stayed along the trek and the overall experience was more than our imagination. The company left no space making the trek a great experience. We definitely had fantastic trekking, amazing weather, snowy pass and steep downhill. We can highly recommend the company for trekking in Nepal. It was truly a memorable experience for both of us.
EVEREST BASE CAMP & GOKYO LAKES Owing to bad weather we lost 4 days of the trek because we were unable to get to Lukla and this meant that the Goyko Lakes and Cho La section was cancelled. Exodus did in the end organise helicopters so we were able to make it to Everest Base Camp and climb Kala Pattar. I am still disappointed at missing Gokyo and the Cho la pass but the trek was fantastic and the helicopter journey was a great experience. I was on my own and the only female in the group, but it worked out really well.
My Adventurous Everest Base Camp Trek My experience consisted of adventurous days during Everest base camp trek. From the very first flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, I was on edge of my seat specially while landing on such a tiny airstrip between the mountains. The views from plane was great though. In the following days, walking through Sherpa villages, forests, waterfalls, swinging suspension bridges and most of all the stunning views of Everest from Kalapatther was the highlight of my EBC trek. Enjoyed every second at Himalayas.
