11 days of wonderful walking through farmland, forests -the mountains were the bonus! Fantastic wildlife, views to die for, with a soundtrack of rushing water a constant companion.

Fun and Smooth EBC Trek Experience

On the 30th of May 2019 we have conquered Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar Peak thanks to Magical Nepal! Let me run you through the process in case you're also considering to make your dreams come true. Booking: The whole process of booking was smooth and speedy. From the moment of our first inquiry to having everything reserved took only 2 weeks and it could have been much shorter if we made our mind earlier - we spoke to a guy who booked everything one day before departure from US. Magical Nepal (Pradeep and Saugat) answered all of our questions within a few hours despite the time zone differences. We knew our schedule and got all the details for preparation well ahead so we could go to Nepal confident everything is ready. Guide: Dil - our guide - is doing this job for several years and knows the route inside out. Also, speaks as good English as me so there were no communication issues at any point - spoken or written. Apart from being well prepared he was also very accommodating - even when we had special requirements (for example, I don't eat onion and the cuisine in this part of the world adds a lot of onion - nevertheless, Dil made sure I'm never served anything with onion in it). On the days when we didn't feel like trekking fast, he was ok with the speed and didn't make us feel like we're slow. On top of this all, he is a good company to talk to and knew when to let us walk in silence. The best part Dil is a good photographer and took many photos for us! Most of the ones in this review were taken by him. Everest Base Camp Trek: We took 12 days of trekking to complete it and while it is enough time, we do recommend to take it a bit slower if you get a headache (mild altitude sickness) at any point. If possible, I recommend allowing 2 days more. We stayed at decent tea houses with food much better than expected - in fact food should be one of the biggest highlights of the trip. My feelings about the Everest Base Camp trek organized by Magical Nepal: When we reached the top I was speechless - I never thought I would make it! It was an experience of a lifetime and I hope I'll venture to Nepal again to do another trek with Magical Nepal. It's probably the best company out there and I strongly recommend choosing them.

The Everest Base Camp adventure in September was extraordinarily spectacular, these people were extraordinarily involved in our journey to make everything possible. THANKS to the owner, the guide and the porter who carried the luggage all the way of about 70 km, from Sukre to Goraksep. I recommend the operator, you feel safe, he helps you with absolutely everything, he is available anytime for anything, for example he helped me with the PCR test, with sending luggage to the country, with the recommendation of good restaurants in the area. The biggest surprise was when we came back from the EBC trip and went out to a restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday and the owner ordered a surprise cake for my husband. Thanks, we will definitely come back to Nepal for another adventure.
