I recently embarked on a once-in-a-lifetime journey to Everest Base Camp and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The trek itself is challenging but incredibly rewarding, as you are surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery and the natural beauty of the Himalayas. The local Sherpas were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they shared their rich culture and history with us along the way. The accommodations were surprisingly comfortable considering the remote location, and the food was delicious and varied. Reaching Base Camp itself was the ultimate highlight of the trek, and the sense of accomplishment was overwhelming. The view of Everest towering above us was simply awe-inspiring. Overall, I highly recommend this trek to anyone looking for a unique and life-changing adventure. It truly exceeded my expectations in every way possible

The Great Himalaya Trail is a trek like no other - diverse and breathtaking - with its changing seasons, majestic mountains, challenging altitudes, snow, heat and monsoonal rains it instantly captures your heart and soul. I have so many favourite places from out along the trail In the east, where the jagged, snow capped peaks of the Kanchenjunga region jut skyward between rocky passes and boulder strewn glaciers. In the west, where the thick, green juniper forests grow bravely in steep ravines that gradually give way to high, shaley windswept plateaus. In the Everest region, where the magnificent mountain itself stands shoulder to shoulder with its fellow 8,000 metre peaks, and in the Makalu region, where the stars are so bright, the Milky Way paints a vibrant white stripe across the inky sky. Our tour company's team was absolutely amazing - Skilled, caring and wise beyond words. We very quickly became part of their Nepalese family and settled into a wonderful daily routine immersed in their culture, and in the elements, with our backpacks, trekking poles and our little yellow tents. If you are thinking of trekking the Great Himalaya Trail, Id say do it, you will have an incredible life changing experience.
An Excellent Trek

The Langtang valley trek was my first overseas trek and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The difficulty of the trek was not too hard and the trek would be suitable for all ages with a moderate level of fitness. Langtang is a very safe and very interesting area to visit after the earthquake with very friendly and welcoming locals. The wildlife, views and friends we made on the trip made it a fantastic holiday. Our guide Lale, was absolutely fantastic as despite being a very overqualified trekking guide having sumited Everest 4 times, he remained enthusiastic and joined in with the fun we were having as a group. Shiva, a very hard working and competent individual, also provided us with sightseeing in Kathmandu which was fantastic as without the transport provided by Shiva exploring Kathmandu would have been much more of a challenge.
