You really cannot go wrong with this trip. I mean you are going to THE Everest Base camp, and the views you get even from the beginning of the trek are just breathtaking. And of course, as you progress to the higher altitudes, those views just become insane. However, it is definitely not an easy undertaking. We are talking about a trek that goes up to 5500m+ which has about 50% oxygen in the air. That's not for any beginners to climb. Hence, many first-timers tend to go to ABC, instead of EBC. However, with the right attitude and the strong determination, you can definitely make it, and my tour operator definitely helped me finish the trek. Also a thing to keep in mind is that we are talking about trekking in Nepal, not the Swiss Alps. Therefore, the facilities will be a bit more downgraded than you might expect and hygiene is very poor up in the mountains. But of course you have to ignore all that for the view you will get in the Himalayas.
I am very much happy with the service we got from the local tour company. Laxman, the owner is a very nice, kind and well experienced person who gave us proper information and gave us good price for Everest Base Camp trek. The guide was nice, Raman is an educated guide who knows every details to explain us. I remained fully satisfied throughout the entire trip and will surely use the same company if I travel again to Nepal. I will tell all my friends who are traveling to Nepal that Laxman and his company would be the excellent choice for seeking any information or service for traveling in Nepal. I would heartily recommend them for their excellent service at affordable cost.
From the moment we stepped off the plane in Lula until the moment of our departure, everything was taken care of. Meticulous planning, excellent food, the kindest people I have ever met, bigger mountains than you can imagine. This was truly the perfect adventure.
