I expected a more physical challenge, most day we had finished walking by 2-3pm and then hung around the tea house until bed time. I actually cut the trip short because I was walking too many miles a day and I was barely walking 6-7 miles. The route was very crowded with large groups of Asian trekkers. The views of Annapurna were spectacular and I won't forget them.

Before going to Nepal we had no idea how to organize our trekking tour and I talked to several friends that had already been there. One of my friends highly recommended this operator and so we decided to choose this company. We contacted Chhatra the owner of the company about two weeks before we started the trip. He was very helpful and immediately answered our emails. There are so many trekking companies in Kathmandu and its really good if you have one you can trust and that cares for you. We were able to borrow down jackets, sleeping bags and hiking poles so we didnt need to buy them. Our guide and our porters were absolutely wonderful and kind! Ramesh our guide was extremely experienced and absolutely trustworthy. He always made sure we were fine and we had a great time with him. Ramesh spoke really good English and both the porters and Ramesh had good hiking shoes and equipment- we were pretty shocked to see that there are some porters from other companies only wearing flip-flops. We highly recommend this company to everyone who is planning to go trekking in Nepal.

My brother and I did this hike together, it was an incredible thing to do in many ways, besides the sheer beauty of the magestic mountains and the luxury of trekking where cars can't drive, we were looked after from the beginning by Uprenda who arranged for airport pick ups for both our respective times too and from the airport, our guide Laxman who was phenomenal, full of energy and extremely caring making the journey extra special in so many ways, he always made sure we were well fed and doing ok. I did have a few moments of struggle and Laxman was always there to encourage and check up. Our porter (who's name was also Laxman :)) always had a lovely smile on his face even though he probably had the toughest job of all he helped Laxman a lot to and I have to say the two of them where amazing adding so much to an already very special trip. Thank you for truly wonderful experience.
