We were a couple in a private Everest base camp trek. Raju and Kumar were excellent. Our guide Raju was patient, considerate, and pragmatic throughout. He made sure we were safe but also made sure we enjoyed every day. Our porter, Kumar, was constantly attending to our needs and always had a smile on his face, both Raju and Kumar were are joy to be around, we couldn’t have done the trek without them and we thoroughly enjoyed their company. The trek itself was challenging but a very special and fulfilling experience. We loved being in the mountains and experiencing the culture. Be sure to bring water purification tablets or be prepared to spend a lot on water as you get higher up and bring walking poles!
