Mosstrond offers good variety of off track skiing terrain - mountains, hills, gentler hills and of course the flat frozen lake - so I enjoyed the variation in technique and landscape. The hut itself is comfortable and the hosts friendly, producing good home cooked meals with some nice local ingredients (char from the lake, local reindeer & elk).

This Exodus trip cannot be faulted...it was absolutely brilliant! The organisation from start to finish was smooth running; the location was perfect, providing on and off track skiing in beautiful Norwegian countryside; the accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with amazing views towards the mountain; and the food was simply delicious! In fact, we loved it so much, we're going back this year!

In my opinion Kvitavatn remains the best choice for those interested in varied and challenging skiing in an unspoilt location. Expert tuition and leading,excellent accommodation and food also make this a memorable experience.
