As a trio I beleive Rachel Jaime and Rich were a very good team as they all brought very different qualities to the job. I would say that Rachel was the most organised leader I had during the whole trip, Jamie's language came in very handy on this leg, and Rich was very enthusiastic and encouraged people to get involved

"Excellent tour! We (50f, & 2 teens) found this tour operator from great reviews and had a great experience. Two-day Incra train tour with hotel. Clear and thorough communication before and during the tour. (Definitely follow tips about needing 6mos on passport, collecting and rechecking baggage in Lima, and arriving at least 2 days before tour for acclimation to altitude.) One of our group had altitude sickness so bad they couldn't do the hike, and the company helped us find an alternative so one of us could still do the hike and two of us took the train all the way to Aguas Calientes and were still able to tour Machu Picchu on the second day. Excellent service and hotel. Wouldn't go with another company.

We were lucky enough to have Wilbert as our tour leader who looked after our group with a great deal of patience and humour. His local knowledge was fantastic and organisational skills excellent and he was a brilliant ambassador for Peru. He was really concerned that we all had a great time. We were lucky with the weather and were able to get to the mud lick to see the macaws. That and seeing a sloth within a few feet of us on our canoes were the highlight of the Amazon stay. The Inca trail was hard but manageable, Carlos being an excellent local guide. Scenery amazing, and a real sense of achievement getting to the Sun Gate. Home stay was charming with genuinely friendly families.
