I was born and raised in the beautiful and vibrant city of Buenos Aires. I have been working in the tourism industry since graduating from Tourism and Hotel Management in 2016. After I finished college, I decided to live abroad for a while to see new places, improve my English, and have life-changing experiences. I have enjoyed traveling ever since I can remember. I love seeing new places. To me, tourism allows us to create unique and unforgettable experiences, and connect with people all around the world. After returning to Argentina, I decided to work as a travel advisor and help people design the best trips possible, discovering breathtaking landscapes, vibrant cities, diversity, and rich culture of this beautiful part of the world I call home. I'm a proud "porteña"!

Hi! My name is Alvaro. I combine extensive South America knowledge with a personalized and practical approach to travel planning. Based in Ecuador, I work closely with experienced local teams across Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Colombia. This allows me to design both detailed single-country journeys and seamless multi-country adventures. I take the time to understand your interests, preferred travel style, expectations and budget before creating your itinerary. Rather than offering the same trip to every traveler, I focus on developing a journey that feels personal, realistic and well organized. My regional experience also allows me to recommend the right routes, accommodations and experiences while managing the important logistical details between destinations. I love Peru! I love the culture, history, food, people and incredible scenery. And I love talking about Peru with culturally-minded travellers and helping them create an experience that reflects their desires. My travel philosophy is that life and travel are about personal reflection and growth, and I'm passionate about sharing that with our guests. Like many young Kiwis, I set off for my big OE (overseas experience) straight after finishing university. By the time I got back from Europe, I knew I'd found my life's path. The experience of immersing myself in other cultures made my life and the whole world feel so much wider and richer, and I wanted to share that with others. So, I started guiding adventure tours in New Zealand's rugged South Island. I rose up quickly in the ranks of New Zealand's adventure travel industry and soon found myself managing 70 people and an operation that spanned New Zealand, Australia, and South America. Here I met an Australian travel operator very much embedded in Peru, who shares my philosophy and vision, and is a fountain of knowledge about lesser-known things to do in Peru. We joined forces in 2009 when we created a travel company with a focus on cultural adventures off the beaten track in Peru. I have explored over 65 countries and my favourite activities are hiking, snowboarding, paragliding, scuba diving, and hanging out with my three kids.

Growing up in Germany and studying at a business university in the Netherlands was planned, but finishing my studies with an exchange semester in Peru and then starting a travel company wasn't. I stayed in Peru because I am fascinated by the cultures and natural environments of South America. I love to travel. I like that it is authentic, adventurous, and keeps enriching my horizons by constantly putting me in contact with other cultures and people. I experienced this fascinating when I first traveled to Asia and I'm still adventurous and travel-hungry today! Now, this passion for travel and experiencing authentic cultures and places instead of “touristing” around in large groups is what I like to offer to travelers. It is also what makes my company unique. Creating magical moments and hearing from travelers how amazed they are is the best reward; knowing that someone else feels as fascinated as I still do.

I'm a seasoned travel enthusiast with a background in South American tourism. Originally hailing from Lima, I followed my passion by studying tourism and then by working as a naturalist guide in the Peruvian Amazon. Guiding groups through this lush wilderness, I developed a profound appreciation for the beauty and biodiversity of our planet. My journey didn't end there. For nine years, I led diverse groups of travelers across South America. From the remote Salt flats in Bolivia to the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu, I've had the privilege of showcasing the rich cultural heritage and breathtaking natural wonders of this extraordinary continent. Travel, for me, is more than just a journey—it's a transformative experience that fosters understanding, connection and personal growth. It's my mission to share this passion with others and inspire them to embark on remarkable journeys of discovery. After finishing my studies in administration, I began my career by working at the front desk of a 5-star hotel in the heart of the sacred valley in Cusco. This was my entry into the tourism field. From there, I knew that the world of tourism was my passion, not only because I love to travel but because I really enjoy sharing with travelers around the world how incredible and biodiverse our country is and showing them all the many ways to explore Peru — the ways that I learned over the years. After that initial job, I decided to become a travel agent. Nowadays, what motivates me is to find or plan the ideal trip for each traveler, focusing on what they really desire, in a special and unique way to create a magical experience that will always be kept in their memories.

My name is Juan Coronel and I was born in Cachiccata, a small village in the district of Ollantaytambo in Cusco, Peru. Since I was little I saw hundreds of tourists traveling through my hometown, and also my father worked as a porter for many years on the famous Inca Trail. Growing up in a tourist area inspired me to become a tour guide. When I finished high school, I attended the University of Cusco where I graduated in Hospitality and Tourism. I also traveled to the USA and Australia for a few years to improve my language skills. While I was at university, I worked as a porter for the Inca Trail, Salkantay, and most of the trekking routes in Cusco. Then after my travels, I started working as a tour guide because I knew every single trail. I started leading small groups and soon became one of the top-rated tour guides to Machu Picchu. Now I work in Cusco helping travelers to organize amazing travel itineraries throughout all of Peru and Bolivia.

I have always been passionate about outdoor sports and exploring the mountains, whether in France (my home country) or in Ireland and Brazil, where I lived while I studied languages and outdoor tourism. After all my explorations, I felt it was time to settle in one place. So, I chose Peru and began working in a local agency. I now design and organize custom-made tours, which I find very interesting and always varied. I love helping people organize holidays and then getting to meet and share with those people once they arrive here in Peru. I still enjoy visiting and exploring new places on weekends and during my holiday time. With so many possibilities and places to explore, to me, Peru is the ideal country.
