Wonderful hike with great views The Sierra De Aitana is predominately limestone, so there is lots of loose rock underfoot. The walking is not too tough if you are fit, have a head for heights, are careful with your footing and can manage as much downhill as uphill.
For the rest the views & mountain summits and ridge walk are breath taking and worth every step you take.
The history of the area with terracing farmlands & the plight of the people is extremely interesting.
My husband and I really enjoyed Spain!! The tour was excellent, and our guide, Juan was very knowledgeable and friendly. The drivers, Luis and Mateo, were also very helpful. The weather was lovely, and Spain's beauty left a lasting impression on us. We saw a good amount of the country and can't wait to come back to explore even more.
This was my first organized group tour, and I'm so glad I booked it! The tour was well organized, and I enjoyed all the places we visited. Highlights for me were Segovia, the Madrid Tapas Tour, the winery tour and tasting, Peniscola, Andorra, and Valencia. The bus was comfortable and had USB ports for charging and wifi. Our group had a nice mix of travelers from all around the world, as well as couples, families, and solo travelers. Emiliano, the tour leader, and Andre, the bus driver, both did an excellent job! Spain is a beautiful, diverse country, and we truly got a Taste of it! I know where I want to return and spend more time in. I definitely want to travel again with Expat Explore Tours!
