This was our first Expat tour, and though the pace was challenging at times (I'm accustomed to more down-time and more sleep hours) my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The very best thing about it was our guide, Marysol, who's energy, enthusiasm, breadth of knowledge and sense of humor were exceptional. We got to see much of Spain over 15 days (and a bit of Portugal) and the places we visited were all worthy of our time. Amazing buildings, cathedrals, palaces, plazas, landscapes, food, and outings. We learned a bit of history of each area. The local guides were excellent as well. The coach was clean and comfortable, as were the hotels. Age range of fellow travelers was diverse, with many younger travelers, which made for a lively group. Be prepared for late dinners and early rising. Bus drivers were friendly and courteous. All in all we highly recommend this tour.
I did the White villages and Ronda tour with Aitor as the driver/guide and Fran training. Both of them speak English and communicated the hows and whys of the white villages. And lunch was the cool local place the had cheap but amazing tapas. And Aitor knew the best place to get good pictures of the bridge. The whole thing didnt feel like a formal tour it felt like 3 friends on a road trip. Such a fun way to end my time in Andalusia.
Wonderful Week Cycling the Camino This was my first Exodus trip and I loved everything about it. I was travelling solo which I had never done before. I was full of trepidation but I need not have worried. The trip far exceeded my expectations. The cycling is tough with plenty of hills to climb. However the group were lovely. I had so much fun, there was plenty of banter all week.
