Amazing Kayaking through 2000 years of history This six day trip includes two days paddling in the Gocek area followed by three days in the historical Kekova area and then one free day in beautiful Kas. Both kayaking areas are sheltered from any winds and have no currents and warm turquoise waters. Paddles are about 15 km each day so they are great for competent kayakers. The boats are sea kayaks, some new and some well used , singles and doubles. Our guide Alper was a very good kayaker with a lovely warm personality, and excellent English. His experience, leadership and organizational skills were great. Being a local, he knew the history of the area and was familiar with all the nooks and crannies. Our small group of eight made for a perfect kayaking adventure.
Had an absolutely amazing trip! Mert was the best tour guid and really went above and beyond to make sure everyone had an enjoyable experience. The food was delicious and the boat made great accommodation. The only thing I would recommend would be to have 1 or 2 dinners in town rather than on the boat especially on the nights we went out later on. Overall was a great trip and I would highly recommend it.
An absolutely amazing week spent on a beautiful traditional Turkish boat and swimming in stunning turquoise waters. Every meal was more delicious than the last and the chef catered so well to everyone’s dietary requirements. Our guide, Mert, was incredibly knowledgeable and really went above and beyond to immerse us in Turkish culture and make the whole experience truly unforgettable. It was great to visit different towns along the way and have the opportunity to hike around the more remote areas where we were anchored. I definitely recommend the Sail & Swim Turkey tour to people who would enjoy a week of relaxation, fun, forming friendships and making lifelong memories!
