I was born and raised in Istanbul, as were my parents, however my family roots are from Trabzon in the Black Sea area. Apart from travel, I also love to sail, and this is something I make sure I do every year. I have been working in travel with the same company since I was a student at university, where I worked part-time as a trainee. I have moved in many different departments; I started as a receptionist and moved to operations, then customer relations, and I’ve even been a tour leader! But I love being a travel consultant and designing new tours and custom itineraries for our travelers. Since I have been working in the same company for the last 13 years, I guess I am doing the right job!

I am the co-owner and managing director of a Turkish tour company. I was born in Adana, in the south part of Turkey. In 2010 I moved to Kusadasi (near the Ephesus) to pursue my studies and, with the many traveling opportunities that were presented, I found a passion for travel. I majored in travel management and tour guiding from Adnan Menderes University, one of the most reputed universities in Turkey. Since I graduated, I have been working with great enthusiasm as a tour guide and travel consultant. I believe that working in this industry is not only about making a living but also about a lifestyle. I have visited almost half the world including the United States, Latin America, most of Europe, the Philippines, and Malaysia. And now, I am living in a resort town named Kusadasi, located very close to the ancient city of Ephesus, which was one of the capitals of the Roman Empire. From here, I provide travel services all around Turkey. So, here I am waiting for your travel plan to Turkey. I hope to welcome and accommodate you in our lovely country!

Hello! My name is Ozgur Ates and I am originally from Turkey. I currently live in Istanbul. A little bit more about me: I am 40 years old, married, and a father of a delightful 2 years old baby :) I have been working in the travel industry for more than 20 years and have visited all parts of my country. I can proudly say that Istanbul, Cappadocia and Ephesus are my favorite places in Turkey. I also love to travel and have visited Spain, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Malaysia, Dubai, England, and the USA. In Instanbul, I work as the general manager of a tour company specializing in many popular tour types, including small group tours and private tours, cruises, and city tours all around the country. Every time I visit a city, I dream about how I can help attract more tourists to these amazing places and how I can create the tour itineraries perfectly.

My name is Furkan. I am a licensed professional tour guide in Istanbul, Turkey, and a travel agent. I have been leading and organizing tours for groups and individuals for over 15 years. I have shown Turkey, especially Istanbul, to travelers from many countries from almost all continents. I was born and raised on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, then later I moved to Istanbul. I love the Turkish culture, the fantastic and delicious food, and the weather. Apart from work, my passions are traveling and food. Travel has many benefits, from seeing unique new places and understanding different cultures to a personal feeling of accomplishment. One of the reasons I love to travel as a hobby is that I am able to really experience different countries and cultures rather than just seeing them on screen or reading about them in a book. As for food, I love it! Food can easily cheer me up no matter what mood I’m in. My mom taught me to cook and bake, and I love Turkish cuisine, the irresistible smell, the colors, and the overwhelming tastes.
