YOSEMITE AND THE CANYONLANDS Writing my reveiw after returning yesterday.... Visiting the Grand Canyon has been an ambition since childhood, and I chose this trip as I hoped it would offer a chance to see multiple sites and I believed the camping and walking would provide a real taste of the country. I was not disappointed but how can any other holiday live up to this experience ...
We had a fantastic start in the Tetons , great hikes and beautiful views. We managed to see black bears on one of our hikes. Some surprising dramatic weather whilst we went up the cable car. We were very disappointed to not be able to visit Yellowstone because it was flooded, but our guide Mark Harding more than made up for this with great walks in the Tetons and Glacier Park where we were able to stay another day. We saw grizzly bears and bisson on the reserve. We had a fantastic boat ride and dinner at Coeur D'Alene .All our accomodation was good. My favourite was staying in Glacier park, where Mike, our guide provided us with a fantastic breakfast everyday.
This is my fourth trip with the tour operator, and the first time with their partner company and they didn't disappoint! The booking process was very easy to navigate, the guides were all very attentive, and there was plenty of opportunities to explore through various activities such as hiking, biking, and kayaking. After the last year we've all had, it was great to finally be able to get back out and travel again, and having a company like this plan out everything for you made the entire experience much less stressful and all that more enjoyable!
