12 day Vietnam trip was Insane!! I Absolutely loved it! Had such a great time. Had a good insight into the Vietnam culture ; the places we visited were just beautiful. Was a very relaxing ; exciting trip at the same time ; with the travelling/ getting from A to B being very smooth. Kai henkel was our group leader, he was very friendly, always happy to be around ; very informative, if you ever had a question hed be able to answer it with ease. Always kept us up to date with the plan of the day ; what was happening ect. He also had great knowledge of the places we went too ; also gave loads of good recommendations on what to do with our free time which was very helpful. Was literally like having your mate on the trip with you. He also went the extra mile by joining in with things we did in our free time which was really nice. Over all I would highly recommend this trip to anyone that wants to travel somewhere new ; interesting. A truly incredible experience with lots of amazing memories made along the way. Big thank you to KAI ; INTRO TRAVEL for making this trip happen.

An interesting blend of Vietnam from north to south including an o/n sleeper train. The success and enjoyment of these trips is usually down to the blend of fellow travellers and team leader and this one was no different. The weather,early season, was mixed with a little more rain and cloud than hoped for but did not detract from the enjoyment but a little more sunshine would have enhanced the countryside. A read of the brochure and trip notes will give a very accurate picture of the breadth and variety of the trip. The daily riding distances are mainly governed by the fitness of the participants and their ability to cover the miles in a reasonable time and for the first time in my experience of 7 trips we were delayed by some participants who frankly were not cycling fit and I wonder if they had read and understood the pre - trip advice!

17 Day Vietnam Explorer with Lucas is THE BEST!

The Vietnam explorer (17 days) was so good it had in my opinion the right balance of activity and free time. Lucas is the best tour guide! He is so caring, funny and nice always making sure you are okay and having a good time. Even when the storm Noru was coming and we had to change the itinerary Lucas kept saying sorry and worried that we would be upset about it. He always try to make your life easier as he would say 'don't worry you're on holiday!' I was concerned that I would be the oldest in the group but, the group was able to gel really well and became a little family unit who looked out for each other and Lucas always made sure people felt involved and part of the group. The North is definitely my highlight (Hoi An, Nimh Binh, Ha Long Bay)it's so indescribably beautiful and completely different to the south, being more green and cultured. Lucas was always on hand to answer any questions, tell you some interesting facts and make learning about Vietnam fun and interesting. Letting us know what we are doing each day and letting us know what to bring, which is really helpful for us. I love the fact that you see both sides of Vietnam on this trip and even better having the best tour guide ever! It wouldn't have been the same with anyone else. Thank you Lucas!!! Hope to see you again one day!
