VIETNAM ADVENTURE

The Vietnam Adventure certainly lived up to its name in every way! It was a mix of an adventure in every sense from the many different (and often novel!) modes of transport we took and encountered during the two weeks, a culinary adventure experiencing different regional specialities and a sightseeing adventure from centuries old pagodas to the Cu Chi Tunnels from the Vietnam War. If you want to sample what Vietnam is all about this is the trip for you!
Best trip ever with a tour guide who went above and beyond to make everything more memorable

I started our south to north Vietnam tour on the 16th September, I was nervous about joining a group of strangers but our tour guide Lucas instantly took those nerves away by starting a WhatsApp group chat prior the trip! On the first day Lucas was extremely welcoming and friendly. He then continued to go above and beyond to ensure that myself and everyone else on the trip had the best time, as well as ensuring we were all safe (especially on a night out). When the news that a typhoon was on route to where we were staying in Hue, Lucas handled the situation calmly and professionally as we made plans to relocate. Alongside, making sure that we felt save and calm. We were very lucky to have him and to be on a tour with this travel specialist during this time. He was also very organised, I always knew what was planned and what time we needed to be places. Not only did he tell us every evening the next days plans but he would also send us a message with all the information and what we needed to wear / bring with us. I found this extremely helpful. Lucas was alway happy to help with anything weather it was giving us recommendations for our free time, being our translator or keeping up the positive spirts when we were all hungover. I generally couldn’t have wished for a better tour guide, he made this experience 10 times better and made every moment memorable. Some of the highlights of the trip for me was Mui Ne and Hoi An, two absolutely beautiful places. Mui Ne was remote and quiet which was nice after being in busy Ho Chi MinH City. Hoi An was extremely beautiful, with the lantern making and realising lanterns onto the lake being an absolute highlight. All the food and hotels passed my expectations. Every hotel/hostel was comfy, had Wi-Fi and was an experience in itself. All the restaurants we went too served delicious food, one of the food highlights was the food court in Mui Ne. Quynh did an amazing job! I had the absolute best time all thanks to Lucas and the agency. I would highly recommend this trip, not only will you will get the pleasure of meeting Lucas you will also make friends for life.
