I knew very little about Vietnam before taking this trip, but I feel that it has given me a good understanding of the country, as well as an enjoyable experience. It helped that our fellow travellers were a group of likeable, diverse & interesting people, and our guide and his support team did a first-class job of looking after us.

Adam was a wonderful tour guide, always freindly and helpful and lots of fun. I enjoyed the itinerary and activites - felt like i saw a lot of Vietnam. The only thing i did not enjoy were the night buses - would have preferred flying or train.

This was an adventurous holiday: we got to try so many types of delicious food from street to best restaurants. We learnt from our guide Thuy all about the terrible conflict against the Americans and the devastation caused by Agent Orange. Despite the 20 year war the country appears to be on the up. We sailed around Halong Bay, traveled on the overnight train to Hue, cycled alongside paddy fields and stayed with a family in the Mekong Delta. It was hectic but exciting.
