One of my best holidays ever. The whole group (there were 7 of us) were looked after from the moment we arrived in Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) to when we left Hanoi at the end of the trip. The scenery, organisation, accomodation, food and cycling were superb. I have stayed in some good hotels in my time but the ones chosen by our tour operator for this trip were simply superb
Adam was a great tour guide who was always available to help us and organise everything. Its his positive attitude and demianor that made us excited for the whole trip. The operational team was super lovely and made everything super smooth. I especially liked how adam made an effort to help us before the tour and introduce us to each other. My one constructive critisim would be more in depth information provided on the group chat. Sometimes we were left confused as to plans and follow up on the chat would have fixed it. Trung was a special member of our tour family and we were all so upset that his tour was cut short. We miss Trung.
Great Full On Tour of Vietnam Just returned from Chopsticks and Coconuts. It's a great, full on tour of Vietnam from North to South. We would never have fitted in so much if we had organised it ourselves. Our guide Tring was excellent at all times. Highlights: For me, yoga by the lake in Hanoi at 5am with hundreds of locals doing T'ai Chi. The Mekong delta's big skies and homestay. For my son (14), the Dam Sen Waterpark in HCMC and Hoi An time. Areas that we wouldn't have missed were Nha Trang as it is mass market tourism there. I'd recommend this trip wholeheartedly. Take lots of bug spray and a whole lot of energy, every day is full on, there's very very little time for rest at all - and when it comes it is really appreciated.
