VIP Treatment and Local Flavors Galore Every day was jam-packed with awesomeness. A special nod to our travel expert, who didn't just plan our trip but made it happen with style. His quick replies and round-the-clock support were the real MVP – seriously, saved us a ton of dough and hustle. Lodging was on point, especially our stays at the Lapis Hotel and Lasenta Hotel. Comfy beds, great views, and service that made us feel like VIPs. And our driver got us around with the smoothest of rides. Our guide, filled with facts, fun, and super friendly. The grub was special, especially that cooking class in Hoi An where we got to roll up our sleeves and mix it up with the local flavors. Those limestone cliffs in Ha Long Bay were great! This experience is just like a memory bank, and I'm withdrawals at the thought of it already!
This is a superb trip, experiencing Vietnam at its best. As always we travelled with likeminded people who added to the experience. The trip is full on and some people added an extension, which would have been great to chill after the trip. The walking, canoeing and cycling were great. The accommodation was largely good, some exceptional. Would certainly recommend this trip
This truly was an adventure in Vietnam! From busy and interesting Hanoi to a lovely overnight in Halong Bay. The night train journey to Hue was an experience ; I slept well, though probably in the minority! Hue is a lovely city with its Citadel, and we had a delicious meal at a local family house. Hoi An is wonderful, a very walkable town and full of character and lanterns. We were glad to spent 3 nights there. Ho Chi Minh City is a fascinating city ; from there to a most enjoyable trip to the Mekong Delta and a homestay on an island. A perfect trip!
