Ive previously been on several trips with the tour operator, either hiking or sightseeing ones or a mixture of the two. I thought Id give cycling a go, Im not a cyclist at home but keep myself fit. The trip was amazing, the cycling tough in the heat, but you get looked after so well, the bike teams manage the traffic so well and look after your hydration and energy levels. This trip isnt just about the cycling though, the combination of 3 different countries, with different cultures and foods and fantastic sights and cities you get to see, make this a very memorable holiday.

If you want to really experience Vietnam, this is the way to do it. Riding through villages that have little exposure to tourism was what this trip was about for me - seeing how the rural Vietnamese live and work. The immense skill and ingenuity when it comes to fishing and farming. The highly excited children wanting to wave or 'high five' (careful though as some do it with enthusiasm), adults waving and saying hello, the absolutely beautiful landscape and fantastic food. I spent the entire trip with a huge grin on my face.

This was an interesting trip with a real chance to understand aspects of the culture and history of the country. Activities were varied. Hotels were generally very good. Would highly recommend him for this award.
