The whole trip was excellent, I took part in both the Lima to Cuzco leg and again from Cafayate to Buenos Aires, and there were incredible opportunities during both legs. Personal highlights would be Machu Picchu, Arequipa, and the Estancia stay in Argentina.
A fantastic way to see Cuba. Beautiful scenery with the chance to see Cuban life as you pass it.
A really good mix of the History, Cuban culture and everyday practicalities endured by all Cubans.
Lovely cycling on well maintained bikes. There was always a person at hand to fix or adjust any problems.
The group were great fun and we spent a lot of time laughing and trying to stay cool in the baking heat. Various tactics of wet clothing and the use of cooling buffs under our head gear. I found the cycling to be perfect for a moderately fit person with a slight disability. I hoped on the bus if I was struggling and was made to feel comfortable doing this.
A really well organised trip. It met my expectations, of course there are always a few problems but that's enviable when you're travelling in a different hotel/Casa every night. I enjoyed the Casa's the best as it felt like we were away from the hotel cliche. Some of the hotels were outside the hustle and bustle of town life. It would have been nice to have been able to swim in the sea a little more than we did but it was a cycling trip.
The food was as I expected. Some of the ingredients were there but their style of cooking Lobster was a shame, they boil it grill it to death. Beef was delicious and the goat ( they label it lamb) was always moist and tasty.
Thank you Team Exodus Cuba
Cuba is beautiful! The shared taxis are not. Most of the accommodations were nice and the hosts were kind. Getting access to cellular or wifi was challenging during the trip so the coordination of travel between cities was not simple. The shared taxis were horrible and not at all what I expected- it was a tight squeeze, one had broken seats, always too much fuel exhaust making it hard to breath, or the driver didn’t know the address. When you are in the car for 3+ hours between each city, the taxi experience can weigh down the trip. Other than that, I think more activities could be included or arranged. Cuba has a lot to see and a lot to offer. I learned a lot about the history, culture and the daily life of Cubans. Cuba is a fascinating country!
