Really enjoyed the trip with only one or two gripes as follows. I don't understand why you booked a trip to be in Cuba over May Day. This meant we didn't get to see any of the parade because we were in Vinales, couldn't see Che Guevara's mausoleum and, although I don't smoke cigars, some people might have liked to see the inside of a cigar factory and there were some very long days on buses although, in fairness, we had been warned.

What a fabulous way to explore these countries

This was our first trip with this tour company and I have to say we had a few reservations before we left . We have been on many of our own cycling holidays but never on an organised one . We were worried there might not be enough cycling or that we might have to wait ages for others or hold others up.However Roberto our leader was brilliant . We all cycled at our own pace but he kept us all together at regroup points and everyone was happy .What I loved about the holiday was the opportunity to do something we like -the cycling but also to do sightseeing and explore places I know we would not have seen if we were on our own .Everything was so well organised even down to our lunch being booked in advance and we pay at end of the week .I liked being in a group we had such a laugh it was like a two week party and those on their own were looked after well.I wish we had started looking at this tour company's holidays before , I will certainly go on another

Cycling Cuba

Having wanted to visit Cuba for many years I'm convinced this was a great way to do it. It is a fascinating country with a turbulent history. The people and their ability to 'make do' when they have so little is inspirational. Never having been on a guided, group cycling tour before I was unsure what to expect and it took a few days to settle into the format. Apart from the opportunity to see and learn about the country the other great aspect of the trip was the other people on it. They were a lovely group of people each with an interesting life story to tell and cycling presents a great way to chat to people during those hours in the saddle.
