Absolutely fabulous way to visit Cuba

The 15 day cycle trip through Cuba was simply wonderful! It was exhilarating to 1-cycle through small towns and villages and see things and people that other types of tours do not offer. Pressure about cycling was relaxed, so if you were having a bad day or were daunted by the hills, then you could take time off and ride in the bus. The team on our ride were spectacular! They were efficient, attentive, kind, cheerful and interesting. Our guide Alex, was funny, intelligent, on the ball, accomodating....and informative about many aspects of Cuba and with a good knowledge of Cuban history and society. He made our trip an absolute delight. On the whole hotels and Casas were good, food was way better than I was led to believe, and the cities and towns chosen for the itinerary were varied and interesting. Well worth the money!

What experiences! What fun! What a guide! Roberto’s immense knowledge, experience and efficiency ensured we had a superb trip including our emergency evacuation by speedboat at 4am from rioting Panama. Roberto’s ability to rejig the trip, rearranging routes, accommodation and excursions was noteworthy. We were exhorted to ride, but never too hard, fed and watered well at every opportunity, educated comprehensively about farming, history, culture, politics and geography but never too much. We went bananas over pineapples and didn’t pine for chocolate! The well maintained bikes were good in CR and okish in N. The drivers worked very hard in the background, admirably navigating and usually avoiding any speedbumps. We had an excellent cohesive group who were good friends at the end of the trip.

Just finished my 8 Day Tour of Cuba, and I can’t say enough good things. This tour operator takes great care of you, the itinerary is very good, and you get to see a lot of the country in a short time. My guide Yasiel was AMAZING, and you should request him, if you can.
