Northern Thailand Adventure I’ve absolutely loved the first half of my total thailand tour with Ali and Gogi! I think the best day was when we did the jungle trekking, village home stay, elephant sanctuary and bamboo rafting. They ensured I got medical attention when I needed it and were always available to translate and ensure the best offers. We had a full itinerary and great suggestions of activities to do when we had a few hours free.
Just finished the 18 day Thai intro trip with Sophie as my leader and I honestly couldnt recommend it enough. The itinerary has so much included with a great mix of chill time, activities and socialising with the group. Sophie made the whole experience seamless and effortlessly led a big group, always there to answer literally ANY question, including everyone and making everything so easy and so so much fun. Once in a lifetime experience and I cant thank Intro enough for putting everything together to see so much of a beautiful country in such little time. If you get Sophie as your leader you are in for a TREAT
I was recently on the 18 day Thai intro, I had the most amazing first week with my group and leader Marek, I can honestly say the trip would not have been the same without him, he went above and beyond to bring the fun, he was so amazing and attentive to every member of the group and made such an effort to check in with people daily. He was so informative and passionate about everything we did. Even the most casual of days were days to remember, his energy is infectious. Unfortunately I fell ill on the second week of the trip which required a stay in hospital and ended in me having to cut my trip short for medical reasons. Not only did Marek carry all of my belongings as well as his own on our travel to Phi Phi, he stayed with me the entire journey while still managing a group, he visited me in the hospital, he kept me updated throughout, he was helpful in organising any onwards travel, he went out and got souvenirs for me and most of all kept me calm the entire process, and even kept the smiles going when I was having a hard time, he honestly went above and beyond. Being a solo traveller and on your own in hospital is a scary experience but honestly I didnt once feel like I was alone and for that I am extremely grateful. I would also like to say a big thank you to Sinead who also stayed with me in the hospital to allow Marek to organise his group, she was so helpful in keeping me calm and helping to settle me into hospital, she is a star and a huge asset to Intro. I was so upset about having to cut my trip short but I think I was more upset with having to leave my group and Marek. Even though my trip didnt go to plan, it is still one of my favourite experiences to date and I am already looking at booking a second tour as I know without a doubt I will be taken care of regardless of the circumstances. Marek is an absolute treasure to Intro and represents everything Intro stands for, he spread kindness and fun wherever he goes and his love for the surrounding world is admirable. I can not thank him enough.
