Go on an elephant trek in Thailand’s northern hills, explore the haunting ruins of the lost city of Ayutthaya, or try scuba diving on one of the many islands around the mainland. Get inspired by the golden Buddhas and serene temples that dot the landscape and indulge in pad Thai and delicate curries. That’s just a tiny sample of unique things to do in Thailand. Unforgettable experience!

The tour was a great experience and I have enjoyed every second of it! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore Northern Thailand. The variety and amount of activities we have done has been so good!

Phenomenal experience travelling through Vietnam 🇻🇳 from top to bottom with our excellent guide “Thin”. We hit gold with an enthusiastic, understanding & knowledgeable local guide. Thin is also a parent to a teenager, so he gets it.. our group was small, which was a fantastic given the hot time of year we traveled end July/Aug… due to UK school holidays.. Thin is a ‘foodie’ so we ate in the most amazing restaurants & no one got sick across the entire trip. He was flexible on the itinerary which was very much appreciated. Everyone we met across the entire country was happy & welcoming. Hotels were very centrally located. Drivers & mini van’s excellent clean & air con. Local tailors, glasses 👓, art - our guide had recommendations & guided us everywhere. We managed the heat better than expected throughout the trip. Hue & Hoi Han are beautiful small towns in central Vietnam French influence everywhere too. Hanoi was a baptism of fire especially crossing the road. All added to the charm. HaLong Bay / the fabulous overnight stay on the junk boat especially with sunrise TaiChi on deck. The beaches were disappointing especially the water.. but heavy tourist traffic is to blame which we contributed too.. Overnight train was clean & smooth albeit long, but safe with other tour groups. Saigon/HCM city is very western and more expensive etc but our hotel was soo central near TimesSq. Mekong Delta is fabulous & the home stay was out of this world with an outdoor shower! Vietnam has so much history, sad times.. the trip includes visits to museums, chi chi tunnels providing an insight into the past wars, eg 2025 marked 50 years since the American War. It’s important we remember those who lost their lives. Highly recommend this trip .. able bodied especially in hot temperatures. Vietnam is thriving & changing.. go before it changes too much. Northern Thailand with Arthur

I was on the Northern Thailand tour with Arthur, and he made it such a fun and exciting experience. He was always making sure that everybody had a great time, while still being funny and more like a friend rather than a guide. 10/10 experience which I will never forget.

Northern Thailand Adventure

This was my first time solo travelling and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Most people on the trip were also travelling alone and I’ve now made some new friends for life. I’d highly recommend to family and friends.

An adventure to remember!

Really enjoyed my two weeks travelling around Northern Thailand. We saw and did a lot- from staying in a mountain village (a highlight), trekking through the jungle, feeding and washing the elephants, watching Muay Thai boxing, to doing a cooking class for local cuisine. Oh, and we can’t forget about the nights out and the Ladyboy Cabaret! I loved Thailand and I’ll definitely be back for more.

My review on the north Thailand tour

This was my very first tour, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. Over the two weeks, you get to experience such a wide variety of activities and see so many incredible places in Thailand. It’s the perfect mix of hiking, swimming, relaxing, exploring culture, enjoying delicious food, and of course, partying. Our tour guide Arthur made the trip even more special. He was amazing from start to finish – open, friendly, and so easy to connect with right from the very first meeting. Traveling with him honestly felt like traveling with a friend, which made saying goodbye at the end so much harder.

Thailand Tours — Highlights and Travel Tips

Exotic, amazing, enchanting. Mere words cannot describe the joy of visiting one of the beautiful and exciting countries in Asia. The presence of numerous islands and two coastlines ensures a holiday in Thailand to be filled with various beaches. From crowded cosmopolitan beaches to secluded tropical getaways, you can really satiate your desires for the perfect beach holiday here.  Thailand is a country that has something for everyone. Whether you’re traveling alone, as a couple or with your family, a trip to Thailand will have all the right options to customize your itinerary and add attractions that suit your tastes and preferences.

Tour Highlights

  • Visit the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary just outside Chiang Mai
  • Snorkel with the fish in Maya Bay
  • Take a boat ride from Phuket to the Phi Phi Islands and Monkey Beach
  • Climb the 300 intricately carved steps to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep temple
  • Take in panoramic views from the seat of Big Buddha in Kron, Phuket
  • Float from vendor to vendor at Bangkok’s floating markets
  • Swim beneath the waterfalls of Erawan National Park
  • Thailand’s glittery beaches are one of its biggest charms, but those golden temples are equally worthy of your time.

Travel Tips

  • The most fun way to get around Thailand is by tuk-tuk, which offers fantastic views along the way. Most of these open-air ‘taxis’ are blue and have three wheels, except for the red tuk-tuks of Phuket (some of which have sound systems and neon lights).
  • When visiting holy sites, be sure to bring a shawl so you can cover up your shoulders and knees. Also be prepared to remove your shoes before entering a temple or person’s home.
  • The most common greeting in Thailand is to bring your hands together in a prayer-like fashion and bow, accompanied with a “Sawatdee-kah” for males or a “Sawatdee-krap” for females. Be sure to return this gesture as a show of respect.
  • Thai people are extremely friendly and generous. Don’t be surprised if a local starts to strike up a random conversation, particularly in the markets.
  • Make your visit to Thailand is an ethical one. Research whether a tour company’s practices are socially responsible, particularly if visiting elephants or hill tribes.

Thailand has seasonal weather so please do check up on best time to visit Thailand before planning your tour.
