I just finished my amazing 28 day Australia East Coast trip. This trip provides you with a lot of great highlights, if you have an open mind about activities. You can experience and collect a lot of moments as i did and you will never forget this. I promise. Only a few highlights of this trip: -the breathtaking landscapes you can see at the Costal walks in Sydney or in Noosa. -the beach in Byron Bay. Less people and a good place to relaxe and recharging yourself after the first days of traveling. -explore K gari (Fraser Island) in 4x4-vehicles. Bumby and sandy roads, swiming in Lake McKenzie and Elli Creek. We saw a lot of wild dingos and I have never seen such an incredible spangled sky. -Start the 3-days-Whitsunday sailing trip during rain with the development to an storm. But with an incredible crew and the funniest tour leader i have ever met,Paula, we managed this and after the storm comes the calm. Nevertheless, thanks Paula for being the tower of strength in this moment! -Skydiving in Mission Beach -And last but not least the experience of scuba diving for the first time. I mean, is there any better place like the famous Great Barrier Reef for a first time experience? The answer for me is "No" A huge "Thank you" to Paula Kallinen for all the funny moments during the last 18 days. And also for all of the incredible conversations we had during this time. It was great to see and to hear, that you really love your job and shared this with us. You're the best And also thanks to Jay and Molly for the first 10 days. It was a pleasure to meet you guys.

Just finished my first Intro travel, did the 28 intro Oz and had Scott for the 10 day part and Zack for the second half and was so lucky to have Jay Val and Paula join us for parts. This honestly was the very best month of my life!!! All the tour guides were absolutely amazing, supportive and loving especially when we most needed it and hyped us up for all the exciting excursions we did! Big shout out to Zack for getting us pumped up for jumping 15000ft out of a plane. The whole itinerary was perfect, the tour guides were perfect and the friendships you make are priceless!! If youre considering doing it, just do it youll thank yourself you did! Cant big up our tour guides enough, youll be seeing me again¸

Australia Hiking Tours

A man enjoying the panoramic view of the coastline in Australia.

Highlights of Australia Hiking Tours

  • Experience Australia’s most exhilarating two-foot adventure on the Overland Track, a world-famous route slicing through the heart of Tasmania.
  • Challenge your body and soul on the Larapinta Trail, where epic outback views abound from the formidable West MacDonnell Ranges.
  • Ramble up rugged paths past Cape Hauy, a Three Capes highlight famed for its staggering 300-meter-high sea cliffs.
  • Meander along the Great Ocean Walk for a more leisurely glimpse of the globally-known landscapes of the Great Ocean Road.
  • Savor the magic of a trek through Kakadu, a mystical national park chock full of crocs and millennia-old indigenous sites.

Travel tips for Australia Hiking Tours

  • Pack light. Grams become kilograms when you’re lugging an overstuffed backpack on the trail. Packing light by forgoing a few luxuries will make your hike infinitely more enjoyable.
  • Evaluate your abilities and choose a suitable trail for your skill. Some of our favorite Australia hiking tours require a decent degree of fitness to complete.
  • Pick a tour in the middle of the peak season for the best chance of pleasant weather—but book ahead. Australia gets sweltering hot in summer and chilly in winter.
  • Choose professional hiking tours with experienced guides to tackle remote, multi-day trails. Aussie hikers get lost every year, and many are never found.
