I would definitely recommend this fabulous trip! Cycling through Cuba is one of the best ways to see the country and its people along the way. The trip ambitiously covers large distances over a sizeable island but the mixture of cycling and bus transfers just about works. There is a good mixture of accommodation-types from larger, swankier hotels (either modernist government hotels or beautiful colonial-style buildings) to staying in a local's home (Casas particulares).
I was thinking weather to go on these type of holiday for couple of year as I am not one these everyday or even weekend cyclists. But I wanted to see Cuba and may I say, I chosen well! The only first couple of days were bit boring / same scenery / same kind of roads but after that it was marvelous
Great way of seeing some of Cuba if you are short on time - will make you want to visit again! Also great as a single traveller. From inspiring Havana to beautiful Trinidad, dancing, some great cooking, a bit of Che, beaches, beautiful scenery, thousands of photos and some rum - what's not to like?!
