The tour guide was like a robot. He was not flexible at all. We appreciated him showing us all destinations; However, he made us walk around the town at night, in a cold and rainy weather before going to dinner. He could explain and tell us all the details in a dry, warm restaurant. We all had to take Tylenol/Advil to avoid catching a cold. Some stops were not necessary to stay long and had nothing to eat for lunch, he let us stay over 45 minutes. Some places had many things to see and eat, we were allowed to stay for 15-20 minutes. We talked to some other people. They were impressed with the previous European tour, that's why they decided to take this tour. It didn't turn out as good as they expected. We stayed an ancient hotel that has ghost. We told the tour guide and he laughed at us. He even said that the bus driver also felt the same thing.
As a first time solo traveller, I was nervous about travelling on my own. As soon as I got onto the coach I felt welcomed and really comfortable. Roma is an excellent tour leader who is very organised and kept all 52 of us safe and happy the whole week, always going above and beyond for us and asking if we are all ok. It's clear Expat Explore really care about their customers and your happiness is their number one priority. The whole group was lovely and welcoming and I had an amazing time. Big thank you to our tour leader Roma and driver Alessandro who was amazing in driving us around Europe safely. Will definitely book again!
It is a typical bus tour where you get to see many highlights in a short amount of time. Throughout the travel there are walking tours, guided tours, driving tours and photo stops. There was free time to explore by ourselves and one could also choose from some optional tours. Mike (our tour guide) had a good sense of humour and made the tour that much more fun. Tone (our bus driver) brought us through even the most tightest place safely. The included food was amazing and the accommodations met my expectations. The coach itself has air conditioning and USB ports to charge you electric devices. Please do make sure to do your research on bus tours beforehand to make it easier on yourself. It is quite taxing but worth it.
