While it was a whirlwind, we were able to see and experience sites we most likely wouldn't have in such a short period of time. Our bus driver and tour guide were amazingly accommodating and knowledgeable. Loved it!
The tour was fast paced with long days but you couldn't do it any other way. We got to see so many towns, historic sites and places of interest. Our tour guide Brandon plus driver Craig were brilliant. Brando's history knowledge made the trip super enjoyable. Would highly recommend this tour
We chose the Expat tour over all others because it had just about everything we were looking for, a sample of all five countries in the UK with literally all the ""hotspots"" we wanted to hit, as our belief is to try and ""do it all"" when you go somewhere, there's too many other places t visit to go back to the same place twice! We really wanted to see Stonehenge, Shakespeare's birthplace, have a Beatles experience in Liverpool, the ""town with the longest name"" in Wales, the Guinness Storehouse, Blarney Castle, Ring of Kerry, Cliffs of Moher, Ttianic Belfast, Loch Ness, have Whiskey Tastings & Haggis, and see all over Ireland and Scotland. It didn't disappoint, and in fact exceeded expectations as the one tour we were missing on our bucket list, the Wallace Monument in Scotland, wasn't on the initial itinerary, but wound up being a last-minute replacement over Falkirk...we were so glad that change was made as this visit certainly completed our experience! Of course to see all of these things in 13 days, you only get a glimpse of everything, but most of the trip had ample time to experience it all (you couldn't walk the full length of the Cliffs of Moher, but could still get a fair distance and take in the views...you couldn't read everything at the museums, but could get through the whole thing and learn something new). A few places were a little tight on time, and trying to eat and see the sights was a challenge, but overall, we were satisfied with the timings, aside from Bath & Glasgow. The only things that maybe weren't up to par were the Clydeside Distillery in Scotland and Spirit of Scotland show. Highlights were the Ring of Kerry, Wallace Monument, Liverpool, Loch Ness & Blarney Castle. Pleasant surprises were Glasgow & Edinburgh, Wales, Derry & Belfast, & Alnwick Castle, all lower on our list, but absolutely breathtaking and full of history. It was a whirlwind, but well worth it, hitting everything we wanted to see and more!
