Gorgeous country with amazing sights!

Scenery is utterly amazing, especially if you haven't been to New Zealand. Comfortable bus with individual USB ports at every seat. Lots of stops (generally every 45 mins or so). Back roads can be bumpy. Food is VERY expensive so be prepared. It's cold - even in summer months - so bring scarf, hat, gloves.

I can't speak highly enough about Midgard Adventure. I've been in Iceland for a few weeks now, and I can't stop going back to Midgard for more. They know how to take you away from the crowds and into the real Iceland for unbelievable adventures. I feel like they've taken me to multiple different planets! I've gone with the super jeep to Landmannalaugar and Thorsmork, and on the Fat Bikes trip, and loved every minute of all three experiences. But aside from the trips and activities, the people there really make it special. Being greeted with genuine laughter, getting real info from and interaction with locals like Addi, Becca, Eythor, Thorir, Fusi, Bjorg and the rest of the guides and staff, is truly unique. If you want to really experience Iceland, look no further. Midgard is the real deal. Can't wait for my next adventure!

My dad and I went on the guided hike up onto Skaftafell Glacier, and it was definitely an experience to remember. We walked right up onto the top of the glacier, through crevasses and down into an ice cave. It is quite a hike but slow-paced and has plenty of brakes. Our guide was very welcoming and knowledgeable. Definitely recommended!
