A good trip with some concerns. A good trip up to Exodus usual high standards but some concerns about cycling on what is essentially a path for walkers. Also the scenery is not as spectacular as other trips we have done.
Well organised trip, good hotels with excellent guides Trip May/June. Cycling generally leisurely with only one notable hill. Route follows the coast on quite roads and/ or cycle lanes for much of the way. (Poor road surface on one day) Hotels generally good 4 star quality, cafes and lunch / picnic stops were an excellent mix with evening meal venues being fantastic quality.
Rubén’s and Rogerio were excellent guides who were very knowledgeable, helpful and good company, just a pity they had no control over the unusually inclement and windy weather. Recommend the trip.
Martina was an amazing trip leader full of knowledge of all the places we visited. It was great to get information from her about everything to do around the places we visited as well as learn about the history. Whilst the city orientations were good, it would have been nice to potentially get a guide for the main cities and see a bit more with them. The temple of the fallen was great to go and see however the guide was very quiet so couldn’t hear her much so wasn’t really worth it. It would have been good to have a few more activities included or some more optional activities available as most days were free days and some additional guidance would have been nice. For example having a set night/time to go and see a flamenco show rather than organising it ourselves.
