I had a fabulous time doing the internal route Porto to Santiago de Compostela, self guided. I was on my own and I felt like I had so much support if anything had gone wrong. Accommodation and food was excellent. Recommend downloading the gps tracking app. Well organised.

Our hostess at Casa do Arbo in Vila Nova de Milfontes went above and beyond. She welcomed us with freshly squeezed orange juice and homemade chocolate mudcake. The next day, after a beautiful breakfast, we were given the wherewithal to make our lunch and then sent on our way with some more cake.

We had a great day in Sintra with our driver Bruno- he was very professional. He timed the site visits perfectly so we were easily able to spend time at the Moorish Castle, Pena Palace, and Quinta da Regaleira in one day, with a break for a delicious lunch in Sintra and a stop to wander in town. He even treated us to our first taste of Ginjinha! Thank you, Bruno for an unforgettable day to a beautiful place!
