A great trip and a great experience, with excellent ground operation in all 3 countries, which made the trip work just so well. Initially nervous about the distance and the humidity, plus the water issues, these turned out to be just fine, and 2 days in BKK before starting the trip, helped with acclimatizing to the humidity. There was no shortage of cold, fresh, filtered water from the guys on the support teams in all 3 countries, and the added bonus of an electrolyte sachet each fill if needed, was just perfect. The roads in Thailand were simply fantastic, smooth, flat, fast, and using the ring roads we did, were traffic free. Cambodian roads was also good, and once the border crossing into Vietnam, the banks of the Mekong river, and her tributaries became our path, which were narrow, but smooth, and allows you to see the real village life and the friendliness of the local people. Excellent ground operators, excellent mechanical support, with great local knowledge, and good accommodation made the trip. The home stay, ( like many others, had visions of communal hostel sleeping arrangements ) was excellent, and in fact I would call it a Lodge, and was a true highlight of the trip. All rooms had their own showers and toilets, all 100% clean, and the family were just great. Cold beers on arrival, and a rice wine if need be, so enjoy the evening !!

Just finished the 12 day Thailand tour with intro and it was amazing! It surpassed my expectations. Dan and Joe were absolutely fantastic tour leaders and really went above and beyond everyday and they are both lovely people. Dan made my experience seamless from start to finish and meant I could just relax whilst someone else did all the organising hehe. There are lots of different activities as well so if you aren’t into drinking lots and nights out there is still loads of amazing activities! I absolutely loved it. Places that stood out to me were khao sok and koh phangan.. and phi phi actually… Haha <3

I chose northern Thailand trip by the tour operator because I’m doing a solo trip around the world and thought it would be a good way to meet people straight away and have something organised for the first 2 weeks. I’ve had the most amazing experience and met some really cool people including our tour leader “Ali sexy bitch” and Grace. Ali is an amazing guy! Very loving and organised to keep us all on track, no need to worry about anything because Ali had it all sorted for us! Even if we get cuts or get ill he’s always there to help us sort out the situation with his fully equipt medical bag! He also has a lot of knowledge and experience in Thailand and he taught us a lot of tip and tricks to get us by without being mugged off for money. The tour is full of activities but also has a few nights out, so good for everyone! I will be recommending this tour to all my friends and family as I had an amazing time!
