Getting out of my comfort zone opens my mind to more ideas and possibilities; and while traveling gives me a peek into how the rest of the world lives, it also makes me appreciate more what I have back home. I always wanted to work in a way that would allow me to experience the world from a different perspective. I love to travel and see far-off lands and organize trips or package tours. I love having the chance to care about people and to work in a specialized field of tourism where I can apply my skills and knowledge, help people learn about diverse wonderful sites, and make others more aware of cultural heritages.

My name is Nitipong, aka Niti, and I was born in Krabi, in the south of Thailand. I always knew that I wanted to do something more than just live the "normal life". As soon as I turned 18, I went to Bangkok, even though I was completely inexperienced and had no idea of where to go or what to do. I am now 38 and I've seen a lot, travelling and living in other countries. I lived and studied in England, then I worked in Oslo, Norway for a few years, before I returned to Thailand. I see myself as a very international and open-minded person, and I love to meet people from other countries and cultures! With many years in the tourism business behind me, I am a real expert on travelling around Thailand. Personally, I love to explore old and new places, and I'm always surprised by how many great hidden gems Thailand has to offer! Besides working with Thrilling Thai Tours, which I started together with my partner Matilda, I am also co-founder of Bangkok Nightlife Tours. I know a lot of good places for both day tours and nightlife. I really want to give you the time of your life when you come to Thailand!

My name is Matilda and I am a Swedish experienced travel lover who left my home country to live in Thailand, where I started Thrilling Thai Tours with my partner Niti. As a strong-minded and ambitious woman I love challenges, and to live in Thailand sure is a real challenge! I grew up in a small town in Sweden and I always knew I wanted to go out and explore the world. As soon as I finished high school I jumped on the plan directly to Asia, I wanted to see more than Sweden! I was out travelling for 3 months and when I came back home to Sweden I directly started to plan my next trip... I have many adventures behind me and I want to get even more. I would definitely say I'm a real travel expert! The last few years I've been out travelling around the world: New Zealand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, England, France, Spain, Montenegro and many other places. I sure love a lot of places, but I feel there is something special about Thailand as not only does it have a lot of popular "must go" places, but also a lot of hidden gems to explore!

I grew up in Italy and ever since I was a young child, I’ve had a great curiosity for foreign cultures and languages. This interest led me to study business for the tourism industry and then graduate in foreign languages and cultures, specialising in English and Spanish. While studying, I travelled and lived in several European countries before settling in Ireland. These experiences helped me step easily into the travel industry, combining my passion for travels with a career. I love travelling. For me, it is a way to connect to the world and learn about cultures, religions, art, food, nature and how human beings relate to each other. This passion also fits nicely with some of my other hobbies, such as photography and cooking — there is nothing more rewarding for me to come home after a trip with great shots and a new recipe to cook!

Hello! I'm Thea. My love for wildlife photography and dramatic scenery drew me to Africa for the first time in 2013 and I have been back several times since. It was such a magical experience to be so close to so many creatures in their natural habitat. From watching hyena cubs playing with their siblings to interrupting a leopard hunting impala, my safari experience did not disappoint and I continue to return to Africa at every opportunity. Safari truly is a photographer's paradise and the people are incredibly friendly and kind. In addition, I am a frequent traveller to Asia. I adore the incredible food and rich culture that can be found all over the continent. My annual leave is never spent in the UK and I can often be found exploring new and exciting countries.

Travel started for me from a very young age with my first memorable holiday to the Caribbean, where I realised that I desired nothing more than collecting incredible memories from far-flung destinations. Since 1999 I have been lucky enough to travel in luxury globally to countries such as Iceland, China, Ecuador and the Galapagos, Belize, India, Norway and Africa. My most memorable experiences in Africa include trekking to see the gorillas in Uganda, a walking safari in Zambia, swimming to the edge of Victoria Falls and walking with elephants in Botswana. Now as a Mum of two very small children aged 2 and 1, I am enjoying working for Wayfairer Travel keeping up to speed with the best places to travel around the world, focusing on the incredible wildlife and scenery in Africa, and quickly using my experience to arrange bespoke holidays for all my clients whether with children or travelling as a couple, with friends or solo.

I was raised in Uganda, where I started heading out on safaris from a very young age! My family was very adventurous and I was lucky enough to travel all over Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Lesotho and many more countries around the world while I was growing up. This is really where my love of travel came from. I studied Environmental Science at University which led me to work in conservation, giving me the opportunities to live in Kenya, Tanzania, Tenerife and Malaysia, and I got to know these areas better. I am passionate about responsible travel and showing visitors this incredible continent and the people and animals that call it home. I believe that responsible tourism is the way forward to preserve a lot of Africa's nature. If people fall in love with this country, then they will strive to protect it.

I was in my late twenties when a friend who was a tour guide asked me to join him on one of his trips. I went along and after I returned, it took me only a couple of weeks to leave my job as a sales manager in a pharmaceutical company and to sign up for courses to become a licensed tour guide in Thailand! I realized that showing my country to other people was exactly what I wanted to do. Now, after 15 years "on the road" I have decided that working from the office is the best option for me. I can continue pursuing my passion but be able to stay at home longer and enjoy my family life. Nevertheless, sometimes I still escape from the office and travel as a guide to enjoy again the beauty of visiting Thailand with our customers.
