Cycling Cuba/Trip code MAH/ 10th-24th Dec 2015. Our family very much enjoyed their Cuban holiday. Accommodation was clean and comfortable, (varied standards). Many beautiful cities and artitecture features to admire. Bikes were well maintained. Food and mojito's plentiful.
We had three levels of cyclists in our group of three and all were very happy and were well taken care of. The weakest cyclist was never stressed out and could hop on the bus whenever they got tired. The strongest cyclist had a few opportunities to stretch their legs and go hard. The guide, bus driver and mechanic were all very helpful, friendly and knew their stuff. The hosts at the places we stayed were all great. The other tour groupies were super fun and interesting. I highly recommend a trip like this for anyone who wants a little adventure and wants to do it with local guides and fun people.
The Land of Sugar, Che and Chevrolets! What a wonderfully cool destination. Cuba is so interesting steeped in history, politics, culture, architecture, music, song and dance. The Cubans (like most Spanish speakers) really know how to have a great time and enjoy life to the full. There is so much we can all learn from them and I am so glad I chose to come this extremely special, unique and exceptionally gifted and talented country. Hurry up and visit soon before it could all potentially change for the worse?
