Our whole trip to Argentina was a memorable experience

It was a great pleasure meeting Martin in BA and giving us lots of very good advice for things to do during our visit to the city. Our favourite excursion was, of course, to Iguazu Falls - it is a truly magnificent site. We also had a wonderful time in BA, exploring some of the historic sites and museums, meeting the friendly, local people, eating the local food and drinking the local wine. We stayed in L'Hotel in Palermo Soho and we enjoyed it, especially the friendly reception staff. Our only major excursion with a tour operator was to Iguazu Falls, and this was the major highlight of our trip. We will always remember it. All guides and drivers assigned by the company were punctual, very friendly and knowledgable. All pickups went like clockwork. Martin was our favourite. We enjoyed talking to him and listening to his advice during our pickup and drop off at EZE. Everything on our tour was exceptional. Our whole trip to Argentina was a memorable experience. Tomorrow, I will be interested to see the result of the Boca/River match. Best wishes and many thanks for your service!

We chose to arrive in Lima a few days early which were glad about because there is a very early start on day after the scheduled arrival day. Also some people had connecting flight problems which meant they were late joining the group. I honestly it is misleading of Exodus to indicate that this holiday is leisurely. It may not be physically demanding, but long travelling days, early starts and a packed itinerary make this a full on tour. Don't be put off because great rewards await but do be aware of what is entailed. The same holiday over 3 weeks would be leisurely but 2 weeks is pretty crammed. We were a little concerned about the altitude before we went but only one person on the trip had any (minor) problems. So rest assured most people cope well and those that don't are usually put right with a little oxygen, which is carried on the tour bus and available in most hotels. Peru has a lot to offer and this trip gets to much of it.

This was the first time we've been on an Adventure holiday and the first time that we've ever used Exodus. Superb communication and assistance from Exodus HQ throughout, from booking to arriving home. The customer service and assistance we've received from this company is genuinely the best I've ever experienced, even when flights home went slightly awry due to bad weather! The trip itself exceeded all our expectations - by a long way! As first-time 'Adventure Travelers', we were a little apprehensive about what we might have signed up to, but the user reviews on the website and the patience of Harriet at Exodus in answering some rather inane questions quickly put these to rest. Don't just think about it, do it, you won't regret it! Yes, you could fly to Cusco and get the train up to Machu Picchu, but you won't truly appreciate this amazing place unless you've walked the trail and understand just how remote it would have been back in the day together with why the Incas thought of it a such a special place. You would also miss out on many other stunning ruins that cannot be reached any other way, incredible wildlife, the physical challenge and the chance to be humbled by the amazingly quiet, resilient and proud Quechua people, many of whom make up the porters and crew that care for you on your trip and make your dreams come true. Machu Picchu is a very special place, Cusco is charming and the Peruvian countryside stunning, but the most precious thing that my wife and I have taken away from our trip is a sense of profound respect and fondness for the Peruvian people and the Quechua in particular.
