This was my first time travelling with this tour company, and will definitely travel with them again. It was really nice to stay in one hotel for the week. I loved not having to pack and unpack, and I don't think we missed anything by not moving to various locations throughout the trip. (If we did, we wouldn't know it- the trip was everything I expected.) The Dolomites were amazing!! The hikes were challenging, and it was nice to come back to the hotel for a shower and great dinner. Our guide was wonderful. I've been on hiking trips for years, and this was the first time I've had a guide give short lessons on how to hike over certain terrain.
Would definitely book with Quark again Many people on this boat have had the privilege of traveling many places, but unequivocally, this Antarctica trip surpassed all of our expectations! It's all downhill from here! :) The level of service from the cabin crew to the dining room and all around the ship was impeccable. The personalities and friendliness of the Expedition team, combined with absolute professionalism really made this trip! This was an incredible trip and I would highly recommend to any of my friends and family and would definitely book with this tour operator again in the future!
Good trip. Too much time on the bus. Some poor hotels. This was a well-organised trip that attempts to do oo much. The net result is a trip spent on a bus, with some cycling. Some of the hotels were good and some were frankly dire. The unfortunate thing is you don't really get to see anything, as you often arrive near dark and set off early. Shame, it could have been so much better. This tour company is rapidly going downhill, and this is far from being just my opinion.
