Travelled during off peak season, July is their monsoon period so there aren’t many tourist around. Did get some good views along the way, weather is clear most of the time in the morning & the clouds set in during the afternoons & rains most of the times in the evening. As it was off peak season, many places were closed as well. However, I enjoyed the peace & tranquility during the trek without many people around and thought it was a good trade off for the weather. Signed up for Island Peak and was an unsuccessful attempt due to the weather & safety reasons. And won’t recommend others for a technical ascend during the off peak season. Had to add extra days during the trip incase of bad weather. Fortunately for me, the weather did not affect me & Krishna helped me to manage the remaining days left in Kathmandu to tour around the area and my accommodations.
Fantastic trip to a stunnning country! This is another great trip from this tour agency which we thoroughly enjoyed. We decided to go to Bosnia on our honeymoon and it was a great decision. The country is stunningly beautiful and has so many hidden gems. The countryside is incredible and you barely see another person on the small tracks that you walk along. Each city brings a lovely contrast to the walking. They are unusual and fascinating places to visit. Definitely recommended!
What a fantastic adventure! The rain forest was amazing, paddling up the creek to the Napo Wildlife Centre was like going to a different world. The cabanas were lovely, food plentiful and tasty. We saw Giant River Otters twice! Wow! It was the rain forest, so guess what, it rained! (but not all the time.)
Cachalote was equally comfortable, if a little cramped, and Cookie produced excellent meals, need to go on a diet now. The walks on the islands were short, but interesting with an abundance of wildlife providing loads of photo opportunities.Snorkeling was brilliant, even for a novice like me.
The Hotel Vieja Cuba in Quito was quaint and unusual.
