My dad and I went on the guided hike up onto Skaftafell Glacier, and it was definitely an experience to remember. We walked right up onto the top of the glacier, through crevasses and down into an ice cave. It is quite a hike but slow-paced and has plenty of brakes. Our guide was very welcoming and knowledgeable. Definitely recommended!
Himalayan dream in 20 days Excellent trek for everybody who has a good condition and who can play cards very well. If not, don't play cards with a excellent guide - Lok :) Lok "unlocked" our Himalayan eyes and views. Thanks and we hope - see you soon again !
CYCLE THE BACKROADS OF SRI LANKA Overall this was a fantastic trip, cycling through the backroads is a great way to discover the landscape, people, culture, animals and food of sri lanka. We had a couple of days cycling in the rain but it didn't seem to dampen the mood of the group, the hardest day on the road was cycling the long straight road to tissa. The two days we spent desending 2000 metres was so much fun and someone who loves tea it was great to visit a tea factory, everyday was different from the previous day. I didn't really enjoy the safari, it was rather strange being stuck in a smelly traffic jam looking for a leopard, just on the rides you just saw so much wildlife, but watch out for the wild dogs most are passive but sometimes you might meet the odd nasty dog that wants to chase after you, there were two incidents were people in the group the fell of there bikes because of the dogs.
