Excellent- Kuek's family from Lion City
Beyond expectation! Fantastic, professional and efficient team supporting us before and throughout the entire tour. Remon our Habibi guide was excellent and ensure safety comes first and has vast knowledge of the ancient Egyption history and culture. He went out of the way to allow the group to experience local delights. The itinerary was well planned and thanks to the efficient communication from the admin team. Remon is very patience and ensures everyone is happy at all times. The tourist attractions were well covered, amazing Egypt! Meals are provided abundantly and sumptuous. I could go on but highly recommend Expat Explore. Its my first and not the last, already booked few :) The group and Remon started as strangers but ended as habibis. We enhanced every experience with each open friendly aporoach. Unforgettable trip thanks to all and Expat@
It is an awesome trip with lots of memories As mentioned in previous reviews it is a full on but very worthwhile trip. From start to finish there are so many experiences. It is a trip for you if you want to see wildlife but have a bit of comfort.
The camping trip was fabulous - not roughing it too much - everything is done for you - you just have to sit back and enjoy - Rowan even bakes a cake. I was a bit apprehensive about the bush toilet - but its was no problem and the bush shower quite fun.
We didn't manage to see any lions - but that is the luck of a safari - you are venturing into their habitat so nothing can be guaranteed.
There is not much down time - except during the long travel between places but that is undertaken in a very comfortable mini bus. Plus there is always something to look at - or playing who wants to be a millionaire! We didn't win a lot!
The group of people we were with were great company and thus also helped to make it a great trip.
A Crossroads of Civilisations and Cultures Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Carthaginians, Berbers, Arabs - even Normans have all left their mark on Sicily - leaving a rich cultural legacy to be discovered by today's visitors. Because we completed a circuit of the whole island, there were inevitably some longer stints on the coach - but it was roomy and we always had a break halfway on longer stretches.
Hotels were mixed -the one at Agrigento felt rather soulless and the Agroturismo had some problems - the rustic setting was fine but some people had no running water in the morning. I hope this problem can be fixed as I like the idea of giving custom to a local business. But the one in Palermo couldn't have been more central and the one at Taormina was delightful and so close to the beach (and the beachside restaurant where we had our last dinner)
