Life changing experience—and thank you Dani! Just finished the Bali 12 day intro tour! Firstly, shoutout to Dani, our tour leader who made this trip unforgettable! If any of you get the chance to have Dani as your leader you're going to have the most incredible time! There aren't many people about like her, there's not one bad bone in her body, she's the most warm person, and down to earth girl, she makes everyone feel so welcome and comfortable. With me only being 18, she's literally been my big sister and best friend in one for the 12 days. Even after our trip has ended, she still goes out of her way to help my 2 friends and I with our extra 2 weeks in Bali on our own, to make sure we have places booked and plans ahead! Dani you're the coolest and funnest person, Ive loved our karaoke nights even though you put me to shame with your amazing singing. Also loved our card games, Ive never learnt so many! With only knowing her for 12 days, it feels like I've known her forever! I wish you could all have Dani as your tour leader!! ¸ This has 100% been my favourite so far! It was absolutely incredible, I can't say anything bad about it. Everything is taken care of and you're stress free the whole time. Honestly, Bali in itself is the most breathtaking place, but doing it with Dani and her tour company makes the experience 1000 x better, as most the places we'd visit are probably not the ones you'd ever think of or do yourself, theres such a variety included on this trip! We did question whether to travel without a group before booking, and after 3 groups and countries later I'm so glad we chose this decision. Such a life changing experience for my friends and I at just 18 years old.
A very beautiful trek close to Kathmandu Langtang is among the most beautiful valleys I have ever visited. I visited in July, which is not the ideal season to visit. However, I still got to see some spectacular views early in the morning and on certain days when it did not rain much. Not far from Kathmandu, the trek still offers you a world of its own, far rom the hustle and bustle of the city. The trek itself is quite doable, ever for a first time trekker like me with average fitness level. I visited in July, when the raod consitions aren't the best. So, I had a bumpy ride from Kathmandu to Syabrubensi. This is expected. For those, who are visiting in the monsoon, I'd suggest to be extra careful with potential landslides and unpredictable weather where you might not see the best views.
This was a wonderful trip - fully of varied activities - cycling, trekking, kayaking and sight seeing . Vietnam is a fascinating country, with so much variety between north and south and lots of interesting history. It is is the right time to go now, before the tourist industry really gets going, especially on the coast near Danang . The people are lovely - so friendly and welcoming - the food is great - very fresh and varied.
