After researching a number of companies we decided to book our EBC trek with the local operator. The owner Uprendra, who is a former guide, was always very responsive and informative when asked numerous questions before and after finalising the booking. We found the company to be really flexible as you can tailor your trip to your individual needs. Upendra gave us the option of extending our trek at anytime along the way if we felt we needed an extra rest day, however this was not required. We booked a guide just for the two of us at no extra cost so we could go at our own pace which suited us perfectly. Our guide Chhanda was really experienced and took care of us really well. Even after a days walking he was always available and made sure we were comfortable. We suffered relatively minor symptoms of altitude sickness however, Chhanda monitored our health throughout which ensured our trek progressed safely without any issues. He was more than happy to let us set the pace and stop whenever we wanted for breaks and photos. We did not expect much comfort along the way, however the tea houses and choice of food offered was a lot better than we expected. During our trek we met a few other guides working for the operator who were all really friendly including Suman. This operator offer great value but more importantly its a professional company we felt we could trust. A big thank you to Upendra and our guide Chhanda who made our trek truly memorable and an experience we will never forget.

What an amazing adventure we had through Bookmundi and Exciting Nepal! Throughout the whole planning process they were so helpful on replying to our emails and questions we had about our Trek. Our guide Suman was absolutely phenomenal!!! Suman was so patient, kind, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, service orientated, and overall we had such a great group along with our porters that our trip was truly amazing and so memorable! I'd love to go back and explore more of Nepal and the beautiful scenery there!

Great Trekking Experience in Gokyo Lake Trek

We are direct flight from Thailand to Nepal. We pick up by hotel representative. then our trekking organized i.e. Nepal Guide Treks. We met Mr. Prakash Devkota(owner of Nepal Guide Treks), he told us about everything of Gokyo lake trek and also met with our guide, Krishna. We had a fantastic time on our trek to Gokyo lake. That was awesome trekking experience I ever had. From that height around 5000 m, we saw view of Mount Everest and other snow capped mountain. When he mentioned that was perfect time to visit the Gokyo lake and view of surround was stunning. Next day, we fly to the Lukla then we trek 5-6 hrs every day with various landscapes up to Gokyo Ri above 5340 meters sea level. When we saw sunrise view from Gokyo Ri, that was magnificent.Our guide and porter was cheerful and always smiling face. Everything went according to our itinerary. Without any complain in service provided to us by Nepal Guide treks. Thanks, NGT having a great teams and staff doing very well to us during trekking.
