The walking was much more interesting than I might have feared because we were using unrestored and relatively remote sections. it was really good to feel that the villages we stayed in overnight gave us an insight (however slight and sanitised) of life in a part of rural China.
A colorful exploration and discovery China is a multi-ethnic country, especially in the southwest of China, where there are many ethnic minorities. This exploration tour of China's ethnic minorities has made me more aware of their culture and customs. They have their own language, their own traditional clothing, their own eating habits and special marriage customs, and so on. It is really colorful! I like this kind of real travel and recommend it to you.
Beautiful Trekking with Annapurna-View An absolutely beautiful trekking experience.Of course, it all depends on the weather - we had two clear mornings, the first one on Poon Hill to see the Dhaulagiri - Annapurna - Fishtail Panorama in the sunrise (of course you share the view with about 200 other trekkers who make their way up the stairs to Poon Hill before sunrise), and the second one from Fishtail Lodge - a spectacular view as well of Annapurna South and Fishtail. It also depends on your guide - we had a great one, very friendly, very knowledgable, very flexible, very funny. He definitely helped make this an unforgettable experience. For the limited time we had definitely the best choice - although a bit crowded in places.
